Value for educational projects & institutions

Currently, I am a Research Fellow at the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Group at Warwick Business School (WBS) and at the Enterprise Research Centre (ERC). ERC is a cross-university center of academic excellence set up todeliver evidence-based research on growth of small and medium-sized enterprises’ (SMEs).

As a researcher, my main interests are in the areas of decision making and cognition in the field of entrepreneurship. My recent focus is on identifying ways to conceptualize entrepreneurs' resilience in a face of adversity. The paper I co-authored, “Repertory grid-based analysis of entrepreneurs' resilience”, was nominated for the Best Paper award at the European Academy of Management Conference in 2014.

My work has been published in the International Small Business Journal and the Journal of Private Equity and presented at numerous international research conference in the fields of managment, finance and entreprneurship such as the Academy of Management, the Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference and the Australasian Finance & Banking Conference.

As an educator, I have taught regular and executive master students at top ranking business schools in three different counties (IE Business School, Cranfield School of Management, Warwick Business School and KEDGE). I am keenly interested in recent developments in the field of entrepreneurial finance and and in particular in the recent developments in crowd funding, venture capital / private equity industries. I particularly enjoy coaching student teams in developing their business plans.

I am a Chartered Financial Analyst and I hold a Masters in International Finance from the University of Amsterdam and a PhD in Management from IE Business School.
